A lot of things happened for the past month. Not. I spent most of my days at home, working as a tutor in the morning and lounging at my room for the rest of the day, reviewing what I studied in college just in case the NSD calls for the screening. How about you? What did you do last April?
Although it may seem quite unproductive, I could say that my luck hit some jackpots. Yay! Yeah, you heard/read that right. Last April, I won two online contest, one was held by Sample Room, an online community/website that offers it's members opportunity to try out products and join several contests for free! The best part, all products are delivered right at your doorsteps. Although you have to shoulder the shipping fee, I think it is worth it as most of the products that you can try are really good and the shipping fee is just a fraction of the actual retail price of the product. Amazeballs, ain't it?
So back to the contest that I was saying, the first one was hosted by Sample Room and I won a gift pack from Belo Sunexpert, a product trademark by the Belo Medical Group which is widely known for their aesthetic services. From the product name it self, the gift pack consist of sun care products, just in time for summer. I love those products that I received, I will be posting that some other time. This is the second time I won a contest from them. Last time it was on Valentine's day! So even if I don't have a date, I am still a happy kid. Lol! They deliver your prizes right at your doorstep, really hassle-free.
The second contest was hosted by SM Megamall, a branch of the giant SM malls here in the Philippines. They practically have at least one mall in every province. So they hosted this Instagram giveaway in partnership with Clinique! I just claimed my Beauty package a couple of days ago and I love love love the Clinique Happy perfume that they included. I have tried the chubby sticks too and I like them but I don't have any experience with the rest of the loot. I hope I can post some reviews soon. I'm not a pro, I am in fact, a newbie and I don't have that much to compare but I hope it'll turn out okay.
Not to be a cheapskate but I hope this luck trend will continue especially in the finance department a.k.a job. (Seriously, I need to find another job. I hope I'll be hired at the hospital I'm aiming for.) So, that's about my April story, what's yours?
